About

If you have found your way to my shop, then you love crystals. So I don't need to tell you how fantastic and admirable these creations of Mother Earth are. But I would like to tell you about the philosophy behind my shop.

I believe that crystals should be pure, without any chemical processes, just as they where formed deep within the earth. For me, quality and beauty are paramount. That's why I select each individual stone by hand, one by one, at international fairs or in the craftsman's workshop. Small-scale production and ethically sourced materials are very important to me, which is why I like to work directly with craftsmen and stone seekers, without middlemen, directly at the source. Beautiful, unique gemstones that are one of a kind, stones that become your personal talisman and support you where you need it most. With care and love, I hold each stone in my hand, observe which color cord makes it more powerful, and knot by knot, I create a web, using the old macramé technique with which I embrace the stone, ready to be worn and loved, day after day...

What sets Anneroza apart is the great value I place on the quality of the gemstones. I would rather have one fantastic and unique piece of jewelry than ten pieces that all look alike... So choose meaningful and unique jewelry that brings sparkle, strength, and beauty to your life.

My greatest joy is to create for you with the most beautiful treasures of Mother Earth.

All my best, Selene Anneroza

A little bit about me

The shop is called anneroza. This name wasn't just plucked out of thin air; it's my middle name, which also incorporates the names of my grandmothers. I like to keep the name of my shop close to who I am and close to my roots. For as long as I can remember, I have been collecting stones and have been fascinated by colors and shapes. The love of gemstones runs in the family. My sister, who is 10 years younger than me and whom I am very proud of, is now a goldsmith and, and like me, works with semi-precious stones. We regularly go out together to buy gemstones and learn about the latest crystal finds. My husband is an avid and skilled crystal hunter, and I love to join him on his expeditions, to hunt together and learn from him how crystals are formed and grow. With our bare hands, without dynamite, and under our own steam, we extract Mother Earth's treasures from the ground. This sounds a lot more romantic than it is. In reality, it is very hard work, literally costing blood, sweat, and tears, and you have to be very skilled to track down the crystals. You could say that you have to read the mountains, and then, once you've found a pocket, carefully loosen the crystals with the utmost care so that they don't get damaged. I think it's really fantastic to make jewelry with these pieces that we have found ourselfs. And in fact, yes, that's how my little shop started eight years ago!
